  4. I actually went there a couple of years after the blast. It was a humbling experience to see that wasted landscape. I’ve read that it’s recovering faster than expected.

  5. Great shot, very dynamic.
    Mrs. Geezer and I went there about 6 months after it blew. We took the helicopter ride up the valley and flew right into the crater. We actually circled the dome.
    After seeing it on TV many times, we were totally unprepared for the emotion of seeing it in real life. Mind boggling to look at the mountain Way-Over-There and see the huge trees blown down where we were flying.
